講座摘要：This presentation will focus on applied research to enable the integration of solar energy in buildings and suburban. The presentation will cover three main research domains: (1) Building Integrated PV (BIPV): including the digitalisation process, safety, standardization, and the collaborative work in the International Energy Agency Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme, (2) Solar enabled community/industry decarbonization, by empowering them to generate their own energy and reduce their dependence on centralized power plants and distribution networks. This can lead to a more sustainable, resilient, and decentralized energy system that benefits both the environment and the local economy; and (3) Solar energy in urban scale, including the development of advanced modelling, simulation, and optimization tools to analyse the technical feasibility and economic viability of solar energy systems in urban areas.

嘉賓簡(jiǎn)介：

Prof Rebecca Yang is a scholar of renewable energy, building and construction at the Department of Infrastructure Engineering, the University of Melbourne. She is the Vice Chair and board member of the Australian PV Institute. Rebecca is the Australian lead in the International Energy Agency (IEA) collaborative programs in Building Integrated PV and Solar energy buildings. Nominated by Standards Australia, she is also an Australian National Mirror Committee member for International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) TC 82 Solar photovoltaic energy systems.
